Kamaole One, Condo #2 located at 2230 South Kihei Road offers the perfect combination of central location and quiet ocean front setting from which to enjoy your Hawaiian vacation in sunny south Maui.

We are just 20 minutes south of Kahului (OGG) Airport, Maui's main port of arrival, and 20 minutes south east of Lahaina, where much of Maui's early history took place. Lahaina and Ma'alaea Harbor (about 10 minutes west of our door on the way to Lahaina) are the two primary staging areas for scuba, snorkeling and whale watching trips.

The Kihei Boat Ramp (5 minutes south), also offers raft trips to La Peruse Bay where you can swim with the turtles, snorkel and explore the blow holes of the lava fields from the ocean and snorkel/dive trips to Molokini.

At low tide, you can walk our beach for nearly 5 miles and stop at the Kamaole I, II and III beach parks along the way. Activites at these parks range from sun worship to snorkeling, body surfing, and swimming (life guards are on duty at Kam I and II), beach volley ball, ocean kayak rentals, even lessons in paddeling a war canoe. A new and exceptional public pool is about a 5 minute drive - lap swimmers who prefer a pool rave about this spot.

Restaurants? Kihei and neighboring Wailea have some of the island's best. We love Sansei right across the street for pacific rim style sushi. There are several restaurants you can walk to from the condo, and many more within a 5-10 minute drive. From the fresh wonderful and inexpensive Maui Tacos to high end ocean front dining at the 5 Palms, Tommy Bahamas, Longhe's and the various Wailea hotel choices, food will become a highlight of your trip.
